"I cannot say enough about Jill in regards to her ability in working with children with learning differences! We moved across the country in hopes of finding a place where our daughter could learn and grow, and we landed in Jill's class! Jill joins with a child wherever he or she is and spends time learning what makes that child tick. She is able to assess strengths and weaknesses, motivators, and stressors, and then adapts her style to meet each child. Jill always makes my daughter feel safe. That is actually the word my daughter uses in describing Jill. She sets clear boundaries and helps Abbie to stay in those and work, She was able to unlock pieces of Abbie's mind that no one had been able to before. After many years of people expecting my daughter to adapt to their way of teaching, we are so relieved to have found Jill who does the opposite! She is a whatever it takes kind of teacher, and our lives are changed because of it. She has helped restore hope, which has not just been life changing for Abbie, but for us as well. She respects our experiences and insights and considers those in working with Abbie. She is always honest and straightforward with us, and she is able to be so in a compassionate way. "When our daughter was 2 years old we knew that she was not developing like all the other 2 year olds around her. Her speech was delayed and we knew we needed tofind out what was going on; but we had no idea who to talk to or what resources were out there. We met Jill around this sametime through friends. Due to this meeting - our lives changed. One afternoon Jill sat down with our daughter for about an hour and in that time gave us advice on what she thought the next step should be, resources available and of course we followed her advice. Within 2 weeks we had our daughter in speech therapy and scheduled a visit with a Developmental Pediatrician.
Our daughter was diagnosed with Autism BUT because we started early with therapy she is a thriving 8 1/2 year old who went from Special Needs classes to being mainstreamed into the public school system. I am so thankful for Jill’s knowledge regarding Autism and Special Needs children. She was able to talk with our daughter and understand her special needs, give us a plan of action and give us peace of mind. It hasn’t always been an easy road with our daughter's Autism but I know if I ever have any questions I can call Jill. She is an amazing person with extensive knowledge regarding Autism, Special Needs and all things developmental. I highly recommend Jill and am thankful we met her all those years ago."

"Jill is an outstanding teacher and has been a godsend to our entire family. Jill has a unique ability to understand the wholistic child, and will take the time to make sure that her student has a solid foundational knowledge before proceeding. When she began working with our son, she was quick to figure out where he had simply memorized material without truly getting it, take a step back, fill in the gaps, and get him on a proper learning track. After four years working with Jill, our son made tremendous progress not only academically but also equally importantly, socially. Jill always figures out a way to teach a concept in a manner that is engaging to each individual student. Also key to the success of our child, Jill partnered very effectively with our family. We know what she's working on with our son, and we've regularly worked together to problem solve. We are very grateful we've been able to work with Jill, a truly gifted teacher."
